ABOUT THE SHOW

FRAYED, developed with and directed by Kibibi Dillon and starring Cornelius Smith Jr. Frayed tells the story of a young man torn between loyalty and legacy in black greek life. Through vocal music and step, Cornelius weaves in and out of a number of characters ranging from his estranged lover to the equidistant chapter leader. Frayed is based on the true life events of Cornelius’s invlolvment in a near fatal hazing incident.

ABOUT CORNELIUS

Cornelius Smiith, Jr. (Writer / Actor) Cornelius is a recent graduate of NYU's Graduate acting program and is a star of the daytime drama ALL MY CHILDREN. Stage credits include understudying Romeo in Romeo & Juliet at The Public, Loving Al in Working, the solo work Frayed (writer and performer), Claudio in Measure for Measure, Emerson in Curse of the Starving Class, Walter Lee Younger in A Raisin in the Sun, George Armstrong in Intimate Apparel, and Valentine in Two Gentlemen of Verona.
